Estamos ya listos para zarpar, rumbo al mítico Monte Sarmiento, solo esperamos que el viento y la lluvia que está ahora azotando las ventanas se calme para echarnos a la mar en busca de los fiordos donde se refugia el gigante que nos atrajo hasta acá.

We are redy to sail, towards the mythic Mount Sarmiento. We are just waiting for a break in the rain and wind currently knocking our windows in Punta Arenas to sail towards the giant whose charm brought us all the way south to the wilds of Patagonia.

La expedición CORDARWIN.13 llevará a equipos científicos, de exploración y documentales a desentrañar los misterios de la Cordillera de Darwin, sus paisajes y sus glaciares. Plegado a esta expedición multidisciplinaria, el equipo UNCHARED formado por Natalia Martinez y Camilo Rada intentará la escalada al Monte Sarmiento, con el apoyo de Inés Dussaillant y el respaldo de todo el equipo de CORDARWIN.13

The expedition CORDARWIN.13 will bring scientific, exploratory and documentary teams to unravel the mysteries of Cordillera de Darwin, its hidden landscapes and its glaciers. As part of this multidisciplinary expedition the team UNCHARTED, composed by Natalia Martinez and Camilo Rada will attempt the climb of Mount Sarmiento, with the support of Inés Dussaillant and the whole CORDARWIN.13 expedition.

Los diferentes equipos accederán a la zona en varios viajes, en esta oportunidad ingresará también un equipo de exploración marítima, conformado por María José Marchant y Rodrigo Bahamondez, quienes se desplazaran en kayak por los fiordos y lagos de la zona.

Each team will access the area in few independent trips. This time also the exploratory team composed by María José Marchant and Rodrigo Bahamondez, who will explore the surroundings fjords and lakes by kayak.
